RaMP is the Google Cloud strategic initiative designed to provide a clear, fast, and rewarding path for your migration and modernization journey. It simplifies the process offering a more flexible, outcome-based approach to funding that adapts as you grow.

The RaMP Assessment is a discovery phase that takes the guesswork out of your cloud journey. Using advanced, data-driven telemetry, we provide a transparent blueprint of your current IT environment—whether you are looking at your entire estate or a single critical workload.

By participating in a RaMP Assessment, you will receive:

• Precision data: Replace static estimates with real-time usage data to see if your current infrastructure truly meets your performance needs.
• Clear roadmap: We identify the optimal workloads for migration and validate the projected costs of running them on Google Cloud.
• Data-backed business case: You will receive a detailed Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and ROI analysis to help accelerate your internal decision-making process.
• Technical deliverables: You get a standardized technical report (the RaMP Exhibit), which includes future-state architecture diagrams and a granular inventory of your environment.
• Incentive qualification: This assessment formally qualifies your project for RaMP funding and incentives.

We tie incentives directly to your success and deliver them in two primary ways:

1. Service funds: These are used to offset the costs of engaging a Partner or Google Professional Services for your migration. For general workloads, the baseline funding is 20% of the projected Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), capped at $2M per workload.
2. Google Cloud Platform service credits: These are "cash back" credits issued quarterly based on the incremental growth of your tagged workloads.
3. Accelerators: Strategic workloads like Oracle or SAP may qualify for higher incentive rates.
