Hi.

Wondering if there is any plans to add the clickable cards component to the plugin?
Ref: https://service-manual.nhs.uk/design-system/components/card

They are used quick a lot across the http://www.nhs.uk website.

The app-list-signage nhsuk-list-links “blue box link with chevron”, as seen on the NHS homepage under “NHS services”, would also be useful. Cannot find this in the Digital service manual.

If these are in the plugin or theme, I cannot see how to use them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

I’ve recently noticed that any Simple reveal content isn’t displaying properly when published. It looks fine on the editing screen but full stops and links aren’t showing

Hi Tony
Thanks for creating this.
Can i ask – do you have a stand alone css file which contains the css for form elements? ie I could apply this to a basic html form to style it like an NHS form.
Thanks,

Hi, thanks for the plugin.

I’m using the plugin along with the Nightingale, and I’ve noticed a couple of minor issues with two blocks after the last updates.

When I’ve added the Hero Block to a page (at the top), this triggers the horizontal scroll bar. I’ve tried this with the different page templates and with and without background image. There’s also a small white margin to the left of the banner. Not 100% sure what’s causing it.

Secondly the Panel block using the ‘with label’ option, I’ve found that the box label no longer overlaps the content box as it did before. I’ve temporarily resolved this problem with some custom CSS…

.nhsuk-card__content{ margin-top: 0 !important;}

Anything you can look at?

We recently installed NHS Blocks along with the Nightingale theme and companion; since then the versions have remained the same (on WP v5.6.2).

The blocks were working as expected, and still do when we add new instances.

But several blocks that we added initially now show validation errors on the back end: ‘This block contains unexpected or invalid content. Attempt Block Recovery’.

Clicking block recovery on each block does restore them.

Example console errors:

Block validation failed for nhsblocks/card1: Expected attributes (2) [Array(3), Array(3)], instead saw [Array(3)].

Block validation failed for nhsblocks/card1: Expected attribute ‘role’ of value ‘text’, saw ‘heading’.

Block validation failed for nhsblocks/actionlink: Expected tag name ‘svg’ instead saw ‘span’.

On the front end, content mainly displays as expected, apart from SVG icons (Action Link arrow, Do and Don’t tick/cross) being lost, and HTML nested inside a Panel Region being lost.

We’d like to try to understand what caused this, to prevent it happening again. Or avoid those blocks if they are unstable. Could it be a conflict with another blocks plugin added after this content was created? As some blocks have SVG-related errors, could there be an issue with SVG security in WP?

Thanks in advance for any advice you might have.

Great work! Can you help me understand what is happening here – an error when I try to activate the plugin. My site has Nightingale installed.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’, expecting ‘{‘ in /wp-content/plugins/nhsblocks/nhsblocks.php on line 183

Can’t be installed due to dependence on Guttenberg plugin which is no longer in plugin library. Any plans to remove this dependence?

Same issue effects the Nightingale theme.
