When making an update to my site I noticed that the sliders were not loading. The text identifying the slider to use appears i.e. [metaslider id=23][metaslider id=25] but no images.
When looking at the list of installed plugins on the WordPress dashboard MetaSlider has disappeared. However, if I try to reload the plugin I get an error stating that the file still exists.
I have been running MetaSlider for years with no issues.
My theme “Responsive” is up to date. All other pulgins are up to date. Running WordPress 5.9.3 and PHP 7.4.33

I need to move the image to the left. I’m using Divi and they say Metaslider needs adjustment. I’ve set the editor to center align but no change. Is there anything else I can do?

]]>Meta Slider is not displaying properly when Yoast SEO is activated. Navigation is not working and slider image is overlaying other components on the page.
WordPress version is 6.9 and I have switched Themes and deactivated all plugins and it breaks only when Yoast SEO is enabled.
I am not using Legacy slider.
]]>I am using the MetaSlider Lightbox in a “Photo Gallery” section on 7 pages. When we open click the image, it opens into the Lightbox, but it’s adding the thumbnails as additional images. For example, on the page I added the link to (pw: testtest), there are only 18 images, but the lightbox shows a count of 36 and the thumbnails show as images at the end, just without the caption text. This issue is occurring on both the a desktop and phone.
I know this should not be happening, but nothing I’ve tried has been able to fix it. Thank you for your help!

]]>We are experiencing an issue with the Slider where it enters an infinite scroll / looping behavior when the second image loads on frontend.
Details:
- WordPress version: 6.9
- Issue: On the second slide load, the page begins infinite scrolling or looping unexpectedly
- Behavior changes when Yoast SEO is active
Important observation:
When the Yoast SEO plugin is deactivated, the slider works correctly and the infinite scroll issue does not occur.
This suggests a possible JavaScript conflict or interaction between the old Slider and Yoast SEO.
Please let us know:
- If this is a known compatibility issue
- If there is a recommended fix, workaround, or setting adjustment
- If debug information or logs would help troubleshoot further

Been having a frustrating issue since recently updating our site – WP ver 6.9, php ver 8.2.29, Metaslider ver 3.103.0
Right on our homepage is a front-and-center slideshow that should have the navigation arrows inside it, but instead they are replaced with hyperlinks of “Previous” and “Next” below the slideshow. This is affecting all slideshows on our site since updating. Strangely, the slideshow works as intended when previewing in the Metaslider editor. I can’t seem to figure out what may be causing it to do this. Any ideas?

I have installed and activated the Metaslider plugin with no problem. I have created a gallery with no problems. Then I used the MetaSlider block to display the slider as widget in Sidebar area. I pointed the widget to the new gallery and hit Update. I got an error saying “the response is not a valid JSON response”. I went back to Dashboard, deactived all other plugins, activated the Metaslider and tried again. Same error.
]]>Hello, first I want to commend you on the accessibility of the plugin however I noticed a couple of issues. The Play/Pause button when enabled is not labeled so to a screen reader it reads “Blank”. Second the slide show begins with aria-live set to off when auto play is enabled. This is great however it does not get changed to polite when someone engages the slideshow so screen reader users do not have access to the content.

The only issue is that once the page with the slider loads, it generates a random order that stays the same until the cache is cleared. In other words, even though the slides are randomized per viewer, that viewer will always see them in the same order each time they revisit the page. This defeats the purpose of what I wanted — the slides should shuffle every time the page is loaded or refreshed. Otherwise, it becomes repetitive, and the viewer only ends up seeing the same few slides over and over. My goal was for the slider to show the slides in a new random order each time, so the viewer is surprised every visit and eventually gets to see all of them (I have more than 10 slides).
I posted a test page with numbered slides for you to see what i mean.
So my question is — is there an option to randomize the slides on each page reload? Something like a “clear cache on reload” feature that could fix this? I couldn’t find anything related to that in the settings.

it gets stuck on the first one and its like an elastic band that doesn’t swipe to the next one. it keeps getting back to the first one. i changed the size. this is my css now:

]]>I´m using the combination of MetaSlider (3.102.0) and MetaSlider Lightbox (2.11.1) on several WP pages (all of them 6.8.3 now ) since some years without any problems. I made an empty MetaSlider template that I copy and use for all new galleries so I can make sure I did no changes in the settings of this template. All of the galleries have the exact same configuration: you can move the pics manually back and forth with the visible arrows, if you click on one of the pics (no matter what pic) it opens in the Lightbox and you can move all following pics in the Lightbox, too. This worked for years and strangely stopped on one website some time ago working properly – I can´t say exactly when it stopped working, it could be after a WP update and/or a MetaSlider update within the last couple of months.
Now it´s working like this: when you click on one of the pics in the gallery it still opens in the Lightbox, but you can´t move back and forth to other pics in the Lightbox. Only the individual pic opens and that´s it. I did a test with several options incl. the no-conflict mode but everything I tired doesn´t change the behaviour of the Lightbox.
Any ideas what this could happend and how to solve the problem ?

I am new to metaslider. I created a slider and filled it with images. However when they display on the front end they appear smaller than intended. I rescaled the images to make them larger and refurbished the slider only to see that nothing changed. The images are displyed always at the same size.
I tried both with carousel option on and off. I also tried to change the width and height of the display area for each image within the slider, but nothing changed.

I have an issue on a slider I created to replace a static logo in the header section. I am using Blocksy theme. I applied it as a HTML code and it works on Desktop but it doesn’t work on tablet or mobile. In these cases, I only see the static image of the first logo in the series.
That seems to be a limitation where the animation can be applied only to one element on that page. And as the mobile and desktop views are different, the animation gets applied to only the desktop version as that is seen as the first entry on the page.
Is it possible to modify the slider via code to apply the animation to all the uses?

Uncaught Error: Class "MetaSlider_Analytics" not found in ml-slider/ml-slider.php on line 156
The directory /wp-content/plugins/ml-slider/admin/analytics/ is missing from the 3.102.0 ZIP (tested via WP-CLI and manual install).
Rolling back to 3.101.0 immediately fixes the issue.
Environment:
- WordPress 6.x
- PHP 8.3 (OpenLiteSpeed / CyberPanel)
- Installed via WP-CLI (
wp plugin install ml-slider)
Could you please check the 3.102.0 package on WordPress.org? It seems incomplete.

]]>Enabling the option to lazy load slider images, under the Advanced Options, causes a critical error in WordPress. Toggling it back off resolves the issue. Happens for any slider.

Previously, the slideshows on the subpages of my website (link to one of the subpages is above) were showing a single image in full resolution (cca 1080×780 pixels) across the full width of the page, but recently it started to show 2 smaller images next to each other instead. How can this be fixed so that the slideshows start displaying a single image in full resolution again?

I use this plugin since a long time, but now I have the problem that since yesterday the funktion is not showing up anymore in my widgets. I can not activate a slider in a sidebar.
I´m using twentytwelve as childtheme.
is this a bug, or is this option not available anymore.

I am experiencing two issues with MetaSlider on my website.
- Large empty space below the slider
- On the page, MetaSlider creates a very large blank area underneath the images.
- All images in the slider have the same dimensions, so I don’t understand why the slider container is so tall.
- Is there a recommended way to prevent this unnecessary space (e.g., by fixing the container height or adjusting the CSS)?
- Lightbox not working with MetaSlider Lightbox
- I have installed and activated the MetaSlider Lightbox plugin (version 2.0.0).
- However, the Lightbox does not open at all when clicking on the images.
- At the same time, FooBox is also installed and works fine with FooGallery galleries on the same site.
- Without FooBox, the galleries would not work, but the MetaSlider Lightbox plugin itself seems to have no effect.
Could you please advise how to get the MetaSlider Lightbox plugin working properly (or how to make it compatible with FooBox)?
