Sheraton Batumi Hotel
Batumi, Georgia
About Project
Located in Batumi, one of Georgia’s most prominent tourism destinations on the Black Sea coast, Sheraton Batumi Hotel is a prestigious hospitality project that has played an important role in the city’s development as an international tourism destination.
Developed by Nurol Holding with an investment of approximately USD 80 million, the hotel has become one of Batumi’s landmark buildings, combining distinctive architecture with international five-star hospitality standards and contributing to the transformation of the Adjara region into a major tourism destination.
For this prestigious project, SOON Light & Project was selected for both the lighting design and the complete supply of lighting products. A comprehensive lighting approach was developed to complement the hotel’s strong architectural identity while responding to the different functional and atmospheric requirements of its interior spaces, public areas, guest facilities, and exterior architecture.
The lighting concept was developed not only to achieve the required illumination levels but also to emphasize the hotel’s distinctive architectural lines, forms, and material details. As a result, the building maintains its powerful presence within Batumi’s skyline after dark, enhanced by a sophisticated architectural lighting identity.
By bringing lighting design and product solutions together within a unified project approach, SOON Light & Project created a consistent relationship between architecture and light, combining visual comfort, architectural aesthetics, technical performance, and international hospitality standards.
The Sheraton Batumi Hotel represents an important international reference within SOON Light & Project’s hospitality portfolio, demonstrating the company’s expertise in architectural lighting design, product development, and comprehensive lighting solutions for large-scale five-star hotel projects.
