PSDIB Students Achieve Success at the 1st ICBBS 2026

The Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences (PSDIB) at the Faculty of Medicine, Sultan Agung Islamic University (UNISSULA), has once again achieved a proud accomplishment at an international scientific forum. Several PSDIB students won awards at the 1st International Conference on Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences (ICBBS) 2026, held on August 1–2, 2026.

These achievements were earned in the Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation categories, demonstrating the students’ ability to present their research findings and scientific ideas at an international academic forum.

The achievements include:

1. dr. R. Vito Mahendra, M.Si.Med., Sp.B., Subsp.BD(K) – 1st Winner Oral Presentation.
2. Dr. Yenny Purnama, Sp.A(K), M.Kes., M.A.R.S., M.H., an active student of the PSDIB Class of 2 – 1st Place Winner, Poster Presentation.
3. Dr. Rita Agustina, M.Biomed, active student of PSDIB (Class of 1) – 2nd Place, Poster Presentation.
4. Risky Chandra Satria Irawan, S.Si., M.Biomed, an active student of PSDIB (Cohort 1), received the 1st Honorable Mention in the Oral Presentation category.
5. dr. Shelly Tjahyadewi, Sp.THT-KL – 2nd Honorable Mention in the Poster Presentation category.

This achievement is a testament to the active participation of the PSDIB academic community in international scientific activities, while also supporting the development of academic culture, research, publications, and the dissemination of research findings at the international level.
