@nsuresha you’ll likely want to check in with @milana_cap and @sajib1223 in the #docs Slack channel to coordinate with them on helping with docs. Similarly, you’ll want to check in with @kharisblank @chaion07 @spiraltee in the #polyglots Slack channel to coordinate with them on helping with translations. Thanks!

Hello team,
I would like to support Release Coordination for the 7.0 release
cc: @jeffpaul, @jorbin, @4thhubbard
I’d love to volunteer for the WordPress 7.0 release, especially in Release Coordination with a focus on Marketing. I also contribute to Community, Polyglots, and Photos, and enjoy working on cross-team collaboration, communication, and coordination.
Happy to support wherever I can be most helpful. Looking forward to contributing to 7.0! ]]>
I’d like to volunteer as a Test Lead or Co-Test Lead for the WordPress 7.0 release.
]]>I specialize in crafting clear, professional content and can contribute to user docs, contributor guides, or tutorials that break down new features and workflows. As a polyglot, I can also translate WordPress 7.0 materials into Kannada to reach more users.
I’m thrilled at the chance to make WordPress even more accessible and user-friendly for all.
Thanks! ]]>
I enjoy creating clear, beginner-friendly content and can help with user documentation, contributor guides, or tutorials explaining new features and workflows.
I’m excited to support the release by making WordPress more accessible and easier to understand for everyone.
Thanks!
]]>@marybaum I’d be happy to coordinate the release together 🙂
]]>For the next term, I’d like to nominate @sirlouen and @benjamin_zekavica. Both are very gifted and showed their abilities already and are ready to take the job.
I believe most contributors know what I’m about to tell, but I want to express my appreciation for what @sirlouen is doing publicly. He already proved his skills, knowledge, and consistency. He knows both WordPress Core and Gutenberg, has a systematic approach and critical thinking, is very reliable, and is not only capable but eager to help people to grow as contributors.
WordPress is doing well with many talented contributors, each of whom has unique strongest characteristics and can look at things from a different angle to complement each other. This makes WordPress stronger. Organizing things is one of the strongest characteristics of @sirlouen and we as a project representing people behind it can benefit from his involvement even more. He can make a difference. Let’s help him do it.
]]>After some thoughtful consideration, I’ve decided that I’m going to be taking a good break from Core activities, so I’m dropping my nomination.
I extend my gratitude to @mosescursor and @nikunj8866 for nominating me.
]]>I’m going to drop my request. I’m taking a break from Core.
